Reconnecting Spirituality and Sexuality Series
Saturday, November 2, 2013 – 8:30 – 12pm
The mother wound can be one of the most challenging places for a man to even realize that he needs healing. But our relationship with our mothers informs and affects our relationship to the feminine within ourselves, our lovers, and God. The morning’s purpose is to find the gifts and wounds that we received from our mothers and to see how we carry these into the present day. We will be guided and supported through story, ritual, teaching, and small group sharing with other men on the journey. Participants should bring their journals and dress for the weather. Cost: $15 – free will donation.
This popular series meets about 4 times a year to engage this serious and sensitive topic of how our sexuality is the gateway to our relationship with God and others. A group of seasoned men organize and lead these reflections, rituals and sharing, including a professional psychologist and therapist to help guide and group these experiences.
