Loneliness, Solitude, and the Holidays – Saturday Morning: December 4: 8:30 am – Noon. At St. Paul’s Hall near the Carmelite Spiritual Center, where we used to meet a lot. Loneliness is part of the human journey even as life is a gift we have to live ourselves. Holidays have a way of heightening loneliness so that our aloneness can become a burden – a separating sadness. Jack Moller and Bob Colaresi will lead an in-person program on these issues, which will include presentation, private time, sharing in small & large groups. Let’s look at why it happens and what we can do to learn from it, as brothers – we are not alone. We will start with light snacks at 8:30am – free will offering – vaccination and masks required – all COVID protocols observed. Please call the Carmelite Spiritual Center to register – 630-969-4141 or e-mail retreats@
