A Day of Reflection for Men
March 5, 2016 – 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Taught by Steve Thomas
This Wounded Lovers Day reflects on the Lover Archetype, helping men embrace our sexuality and our woundedness. It is a safe environment where the shadow of sexuality can be brought into the light of day. We wrestle with the connection between the spiritual and sexual realities of our human experience. We seek God’s grace, freedom and love for that which is wounded in us as lovers. Includes, presentations, discussions, ritual and lunch. Steve Thomas is familiar to many of us as a great teacher and man of wisdom.
Cost: $40 per person, lunch included. Register by March 3
From Bethany to the Temple
Palm Sunday journey of Jesus
March 19, 2016 – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Taught by Bob Colarisi
The Holy Land has often been called the 5th gospel– the landscape of the holy land reflects the landscape of the human soul. Having visited the biblical Holy Land often, Bob will lead us as we trace the messianic entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem, from Bethany on the Mount of Olives, through Gethsemane, across the Kedron Valley into the temple– to understand our journey to God, freedom and truth through friends, dreams, boundaries, pains and hopes of our lives. It is a great way to prepare for holy week and Easter.
Cost: $40 per person, lunch included. Register by March 14th.
For Initiated men and their significant others.
Several brothers of our Illinois M.A.L..E.s have gone to the Holy Land on pilgrimage and found it to be very significant in their spiritual journey. They got excited about having Illinois M.A.L.E s sponsor one for Initiated men and their wives/significant others. Possibly God is calling you on this great journey of faith! READ MORE—>
